Why are we doing this?
We will use the information we collect from this survey, along with data from the recent ONS Census and other government sources, to help educate residents and inform and lobby your local authority and businesses to make vital changes in and create solutions for your community.
We are trialling this in Lewisham and then will expand to other London boroughs, before going nationwide.
The Background
In 2015 The Paris Climate Agreement was signed – by nearly every nation – to address climate change and its negative impacts. It aims to substantially reduce greenhouse gas emissions to levels that would prevent global temperatures from increasing more than 2°C (above preindustrial levels), while attempting to limit the increase to 1.5 degrees.
